892,923. Photographic cameras. BELL & HOWELL CO. Feb. 18, 1959 [Feb. 21, 1958], No. 5577/59. Class 98(1). [Also in Group XL(b)] A variable camera exposure diaphragm aperture comprises slots 19, 20 in gears 17, 18 both driven by galvanometer 22 energized from a photo-cell 26 (see Group XL(b)) mounted in the view-finder with the greater part of the cell above the view-finder axis 32 to reduce the effect of light from the sky. To allow for differences in two types of colour film a perforated shutter 36 can be swung transversely to view-finder axis 32, see also Figs. 2 and 3 (neither shown).
