Abstract

892,377. Electric selective-signalling systems. ERICSSON TELEPHONES Ltd. Nov. 7, 1960 [Jan. 30, 1960], No. 3385/60. Class 40 (1). In an indicating system employing a plurality of digit indicating tubes 1, 2, each digit cathode has associated with it a trigger tube 101 &c. and any digit can be selected for display by means of a switch 51 which selects a particular tube, and switches 21-30 which select a particular digit in that tube. As shown, switch 51 is selecting tube 1. Closure of a switch 21-30 will fire the corresponding trigger tube 101 &c. to display a selected digit in tube 1. This digit will remain on display while switch 51 selects a different tube. Thus a multi-digit number can be displayed, the individual digits being registered one by one. Trigger tubes 101 &c. are reset by opening a switch 52. Specification 739,041 is referred to.
