Abstract
892,371. Oxidation catalysts. BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK A.G. June 27, 1960 [June 2, 1959], No. 22375/60. Class 1(1) [Also in Group IV(b)] Oxidation catalysts are obtained by treating TiO 2 (preferably of anastase structure) with an aqueous solution or suspension of a vanadium complex compound and phosphomolybdic acid or its ammonium salt, thickening the mixture to a dough-like and kneadable mass, shaping preferably to bodies of 2-10 mm. diameter, drying and finally activating at 170-400‹ C. in a current of air, preferably moist.
