891,474. Paper, hectographic; spirit duplicating. WAGNER VERWALTLTNGSGESELLSCHAFT, GUNTHER. Aug. 27, 1958 [Sept. 5, 1957], No. 27453/58. Class 96. Hectographic master-copy paper for spirit duplicating has a coating giving a colour reaction on copy paper with an acidic medium, the coating consisting of a non-acidic wax containing a cyclic di-substitution product of hydroxymethane, or an ether thereof, as the colour-reactant. An example specifies 40 parts of bis (4 - dimethyl - aminophenyl) hydroxymethane and 30-50 of carnauba wax, cetyl alcohol, or paraffin wax with some petroleum jelly, melted and spread or rolled on. The acid reactant may be in the copy paper or in the duplicating fluid.
