Abstract

An electric control system (see Group XXXVIII) is used for blending fluids such as oils from two or more components, and in one example asphaltic bitumen at 150 DEG C. is blended with kerosine at 15 DEG C. to give a product of S.S.F. 30-80 comprising 79% of bitument and 21% of kerosine.
