[Also in Group XI] A hollow article, e.g. a dish, bowl or as shown lampshade, having a reentrant part is moulded from a blank 10, which may be made by spirally winding material on a core ; as described in Specification 753,655, by placing the blank or a mould 13, healing the blank by infra-red, hot air or electric resistance elements 24 in a pivotally mounted plate 22, and then sucking or blowing the blank against the mould with the aid of a diaphragm 21.
