887,617. Fluid pressure brakes. ELECTRAULIC PRESSES Ltd. Jan. 13, 1958 [Jan. 11, 1957], No. 1119/57. Class 103 (1). An hydraulic system has pressure liquid supplied to both sides of a differential piston 2 in cylinder 1 so that the pressure acting on face 6 will move the piston in opposition to the pressure on face 5, and a pressure relief valve 11 for releasing pressure in line 10 to vary the load applied by the piston, the valve being as claimed in Claim 1 of Specification 782,270.' The piston-rod 3 may be connected to a brake to apply the brake on opening of valve 11.
