886,202. Forging wheel hubs. GOTTSCHALK, R. June 9, 1959, No. 19789/59. Classes 83 (2) and 83 (4). A hub body 2 for a bicycle or motor cycle wheel is made from a single piece of pipe, preferably seamless drawn, by cold flow pressing. The body has its races 4 and braking and driving surfaces 5 formed completely by pressing between inner and outer dies. The outer periphery of the pressed hub may be machined.
