Abstract

885,255. Shovelling machines. DUSTERLOH FABRIK FUR BERGWERKSBEDARF G.m.b.H., G. Sept. 9, 1960 [Sept. 9, 1959], No. 31190/60. Class 68(1). The entry of a digging scoop 8 into material that is to be subsequently discharged on to an upwardly and rearwardly extending conveyer 15 mounted on the chassis of the shovelling machine is facilitated by oscillatably mounting the rocker axle 7 of the shovel on the chassis of the machine. The axle may be supported in bearings directly or indirectly acted on oscillation generators 10. The bearings that are directly acted on by the generators 10 may be slidably mounted on upwardly and rearwardly inclined guide tracks on the chassis. When the generators act indirectly on the bearings, the bearings are at the free lower ends of vertical leaf springs on which the generators act.
