884,334. Papering appliances. ASHLEY, H. May 13, 1959 [Feb. 26, 1959], No. 6708/59. Class 20(2) An appliance for supporting paper during papering comprises a platform 13 mounted by clamps 23 on an X-shaped support 18 which is clamped to the upper tube 7 of a telescopic upright 1, 2, 7. The upper tube 7 is urged into engagement with the ceiling by a compression spring 6 within the tube 2 and the lower member 1 is adjustably secured to the tube 2 by a clamp 3. A T-shaped guide 15, 16 is secured to the platform support by a clamp 21. A rubber padded bar 8 on a shoe 10 is pivoted to the tube 7.
