Class 141 In a coat collar comprising under and outer collar parts 1, 2 formed as a single piece of material folded along a crease line 3, a piece 4 of loosely woven canvas or fabric is stuck to the under collar part by a thermoplastic adhesive on the canvas &c. before manipulating the under collar part by heat so as to give the crease line a curved profile. The adhesive is applied so that interstices are left in the canvas or fabric to allow for the passage of steam when the collar is pressed.
