882,425. Tractor power-lift mechanism. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. OF GREAT BRITAIN Ltd. May 5, 1958, No. 14266/58. Addition to 876,258. Class 79(1). In a tractor power-lift system according to the parent Specification in which a valve 13, Fig. 1, adapted to establish low-pressure bypass has a main control member 16 for manual raising and lowering or automatic draft control and has auxiliary valve member 94 of the spool type for constant depth setting, leakages in the valve member 94 which would result in gradual lowering of of the lift system are compensated. The valve 94 is provided with an additional port 103, Fig. 2, and groove 104 which connect a cylinder 33 operating the by-pass valve 25 to a return line 106 when small movements of the valve 94 occur. This results in closure of the low-pressure by-pass valve 25 with a resultant build up of pressure in the lift system. Operation of the valves 16, 94 is described in the parent Specification.
