Abstract

881,241. Ventilators. MYERSON Ltd., F. T., SUTHERWOOD, G. R., PRESTON, D. G. and MARSTON, V. L. April 4, 1960 [Jan. 2, 1959], No. 278/59. Class 137. A ventilator for fitting in an aperture in a window comprises an annular member 111 clamped to the glass by a ring 114 and cooperating screw 115 and having apertures 124, and a second annular member 131 also having apertures 133 and mounted on the screws to slide relative to the first annular member to allow or stop the passage of air therethrough. The second member has a lip 132 which holds a circular disc of glass 139 in the centre of the ventilator. According to the Provisional Specification the three annular members may be made from a transparent plastics material in which case th e movable member may be formed integrall y with the centre disc.
