[Also in Group X] A ventilator for use in a door or operable panel 16 comprises two plates 10, 11 which are placed either-side of the door to cover a hole therein and to form an air duct, an aperture with mesh 12 towards the top of one of the, plates and an electrical heating device 18 between the plates below the aperture. A strip of flexible material 17 at the base of the door guides air into the duct and a fitter supported on brackets 20 may be incorporated. Protective plates 19 are positioned on the plates 10, 11 adjacent the heating element.
