Abstract
The invention comprises dithiophosphonic acid esters of formula <FORM:0878729/IV (b)/1> where R is C1-4 alkyl, cycloalkyl or C2-4 alkenyl and R1 and R11 are C1-4 alkyl They are prepared by the reaction of the corresponding dithiophosphonic acid-O-alkyl esters with alkyl vinyl thioethers, preferably in an inert solvent. The products are insecticides (see Group VI). Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 842,306.ALSO:Insecticidal compositions comprise dithiophosphonic acid esters of formula <FORM:0878729/VI/1> where R is C1-4 alkyl, cycloalkyl or C2-4 alkenyl, and R1 and R11 are C1-4 alkyl, together with conventional solid or liquid carriers. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 842,306.
