A loud-speaker diaphragm has three or more sides and is mounted on separate flexible strips 28 to 31 holes or gaps 34, Fig. 1, 56, Fig. 4, 58, Fig. 8, being left at the corners. The diaphragm is stiffened by forked ribs 12, 13 substantially as described in Specification 876,428 and is intended to vibrate as a whole. Specification 876,426 also is referred to.
