Abstract
875,969. Adjusting body height; preventing lateral roll. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. Nov. 27, 1959 [Dec. 6, 1958], No. 40408/59. Class 108(2). A hydro-pneumatic suspension system for vehicles comprises hydro-pneumatic spring units 3, 6 associated with each wheel of the vehicle and each having a height control valve. The system also includes a pump 17 drawing oil from a reservoir 19 and delivering oil via a regulating device 12 and one way valves 14, 16, to pressure accumulators 8, 10 associated with the front and rear axle suspension units respectively, and a pressure maintenance valve 23.
