A temperature-sensitive resistance transducer comprises two resistance windings 2 (Figs. 1, 2), wound one on each of two insulating plate members 1, the windings being covered with a thin, insulating foil 9, and located inside a metal sheath 10, 11 soldered or welded to the wall of a metal tube 12. Terminal wires 4 are secured in longitudinal holes 3, and the tube 12 is sealed. The assembly may be surrounded by a further protective tube (not shown).
