Abstract

Insecticidal, insect repellent and plant growth regulant compositions consist of an infusion of privet leaves, e.g. in a proportion of 2 to 3 lb in 6 gallons of water, to which small quantities of salt, e.g. 2 to 8 ozs. and lime, e.g. 1/2 to 2 ozs., have been added after straining and cooling.ALSO:Insecticidal, insect repellent and plant growth regulant compositions consist of an infusion of privet leaves, e.g. in a proportion of 2 to 3 lbs. in 6 gallons of water to which small quantities of salt, e.g. 2 to 8 ounces, and lime, e.g. 1/2 to 2 ounces have been added after straining and cooling.
