873,737. Feritlizer distributers, seed sowers. GYRO SKIVE JERNSTBERI & MASKINFABRIK A.G. Nov. 19, 1959, No. 3933.5/59. Class 6(1).3 To prevent a seed or fertiliser share 7 from being blocked with soil when lowered vertically, the share 7 is attached to parallel links 3, 4 and a pivotable supporting member 13 with a skid 14 is mounted on an extension 12 of the links 3. As shown the skid 14 controls the ground before the share when it is lowered and as the machine is moved forwardly the member 13 moves rearwardly lowering the share 7 into the ground. A stop 16 is provided so that if the machine is reversed the member 13 will move to a vertical position and be retained in that position by the stop causing the share to be raised clear of the ground.
