873,545. Sun visors for vehicles. MORGAN, M. J., and BRIDGEWATER, H. G. May 17, 1960 [Feb. 17, 1959], No. 5420/59. Class 103(2). A vehicle sun or glare visor, comprises a yieldable synthetic plastic frame a Figs. 1 and 2, with hooked ends a a3, disposed in the upper part of an opaque cover b (e.g. polyvinylchloride cloth) formed as an envelope, filled with synthetic plastic foam c and a filling piece d of resilient material, whereby the lower part of the visor is not reinforced by the frame and is thus completely flexible. If desired the ends a<SP>2</SP>, a<SP>3</SP> may be connected to form an oblong looped frame. The frame a is provided with a substantially rigid bearing section a<SP>1</SP> clampingly engageable at a<SP>4</SP> with a conventional supporting rod.
