Abstract

872,939. Textile-roller cleaning-apparatus. REITERES F., and WINDISCH, L. July 29, 1959 [Dec. 9, 1958], No. 26085/59. Class 120(2) Apparatus for cleaning textile-rollers where rubbers are associated with a suction-system, comprises means for automatically removing the rubber from the corresponding roller at pre-determined intervals to facilitate the action of the section system. In Fig. 1, the rubbers 5 are carried by the mouthpieces 4 of suction ducts 1 which are intermittently oscillated by a cam 2 or by electromagnetic, hydraulic or pneumatic means. The mouthpieces are mounted on plates 7 so as to be adjustable with respect to the ducts. In Fig. 8, two rubbers are provided for each roller and are secured to the corresponding duct by springs 25; a rod 23 is moved to and fro by a cam 2 so for dogs 24 to withdraw one rubber at a time from the rollers. In Fig. 4 a similar effect is produced by mounting the rubbers on rods such as 8 which are alternately raised and lowered by the mechanism shown.
