871,604. Incinerators. DE ROLL S.A., L. Aug. 21, 1958 [Aug. 23, 1957], No. 26952/58. Class 51 (1). In a refuse incinerator, nozzles 7 direct air over the drying grate 1 from the side walls. The nozzles 7 may be fixed in the walls, or deflectable from outside. The volume of air delivered may be controlled from outside, and the air sweeps the entire space between the refuse on the drying grate and the roof of the incinerator. The outlet for the gaseous products of combustion is arranged so that these gases do not sweep the garbage in the drying grate.
