867,238. Endless conveyers for sheet materials. MANNESMANN-MEER A.G. Jan. 16, 1958 [Feb. 15, 1957], No. 1569/58. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group XXII] Metal sheets are transported through a sheetmetal edging-machine between lower and upper series of endless chains 1, 2, chains 1 being arranged side-by-side in a fixed frame, and chains 2 being arranged side-by-side in an upper frame 3 which is movable towards and away from the lower frame. The chains are provided with cushions 6 of rubber or other resilient material to engage the sheets, and are provided with double conical rollers 7 which run on guide tracks 5 of V-shaped cross-section.
