[Also in Groups XI and XV] A laminate for a lamp shade is made by applying an adhesive such as a vinyl lacquer or non-acid synthetic resin such as polyvinyl acetate to material such as Super White German parchment 10, then winding wire 13 on the adhesive surface and finally applying one or more finishing coats of lacquer. The wire may be wound in spaced single coil and/or dual coil and/ or multi-coil bands.
