867,055. Photographic processing apparatus. AGFA A. G. April 20, 1959 [April 30, 1958], No. 13442/59. Class 98(2) A daylight processing apparatus, especially suitable for dental film packs, comprises an upper section 2 having a passage with insertion slot 4 for introducing the pack and ejection slot 3 to let the film drop into a lower section 1 comprising a processing bath, with a further slot 5 for the pulling slip of the pack. Thus in Fig. 2b pulling slip 10 of pack 9 which extends over cover sheet 11 is shown emerging from slot 5 to cause a film from the pack to drop as stated. A finger-opening 6 and roughened bearing surface 7 with edge 8 are provided to facilitate manipulation. Modifications of the apparatus include provision for rotation of the upper section 2 around lower section 1 and subdivision of the latter into two or more compartments as for successive films, also the provision of an insert to seal off the upper section and allow shaking of the film in the bath.
