Abstract

866,897. Floor polishing machines brushes. ELECTROLUX CORPORATION. Feb. 15, 1960 [Feb. 13, 1959], No. 5275/60. Classes 19 and 138(1). In a floor treating machine a rotary polishing or cleaning disc has brush bristles 32, Fig. 3, arranged in a peripheral zone bounding a non- circular pad 34 of metallic wool. In another embodiment the bristles are arranged in two strips having portions 44, Fig. 6, extending along the periphery of a circular disc and parallel portions 46 extending across the disc, a pad 48 of metallic wool being disposed between the portions 46.
