866,146. Carving forks. JOHNSON, C. Feb. 9, 1960, No. 31925/58. Class 30. A carving fork has a guard pivoted in a slot E in the shank, the guard being held in open and closed position by a sleeve H rotatably mounted on the shank and engaging a spur F on the guard. In the open position (Fig. 4) the spur passes through a slot G in the sleeve and is retained in a shallow slot F in the shank.
