864,660. Electrical measuring systems. VYZKUMNY A ZKUSEBNI LETECKY USTAV. Sept. 30, 1958 [Oct. 22, 1957], No. 31180/58. Class 40(1). [Also in Group XXXVI] In a circuit for measuring the output of an electro-mechanical transducer comprising two toroidal cores each having an exciting winding and an auxiliary winding and two receiving coils, the auxiliary windings 7, 7<SP>1</SP> are connected in series with the receiving coils 4, 4<SP>1</SP> on either side of a potentiometer 9, the whole series being connected across a second potentiometer 10, the sliders of the two potentiometers being connected to measuring or indicating means. Rectifiers 8 may be included to enable a D.C. instrument 11 to be employed. In another arrangement, Fig. 2 (not shown), the rectifiers 8 are omitted, the voltage between the sliders of potentiometers 9, 10 being amplified and fed to a two-phase induction motor used to drive the slider of potentiometer 10 to balance. Potentiometer 9 is used for zero setting. The auxiliary windings 7, 7<SP>1</SP> may be tapped to provide sensitivity adjustment. Specification 864,194 is referred to.
