[Also in Group XX] An electric switch for remote focusing control of an optical slide projector (see Group XX) comprises an insulating plate 16a carrying a conductive plate 16c which is connected to one side of the mains supply 15 and can pivot about 16b against springs 17, 18. Clockwise pivotal movement of plate 16c engages it with fixed contacts 21, 22, whereas anti-clockwise movement of the plate engages it with fixed contacts 19, 20. In another form, the switch 16 incorporates only two fixed contacts for engagement by the conductive plate 16c.
