Abstract

859,734. Fireguards. WOLD COUNTRY CRAFTS Ltd. Aug. 15, 1957 [Aug. 15, 1956], 24899/56. Class 126. A fireguard 10 comprises woven wire doors 19, 20 which are supported in a structure formed of vertical posts 12 connected by arcuate cross-bars 13, 14 and which are of similar curvature to the crossbars. The doors are hinged about vertical axes adjacent the posts by the outer vertical sides of the door frames 26 which project through apertures 30 in the cross-bars to form hinge pins 28, 29 which are retained in position by spring clips 32. A loop 36 on the upper cross-bar covers the projecting end 35 of the door 19 to keep the doors closed and a knob 32 having a vertical threaded bore for a screw on the lower cross-bar provides a vertically adjustable foot.
