Abstract

859,196. Knitting-machines. MORAT, F., [trading as MORAT KOMM.-GES., F.]. July 15, 1958 [Dec. 7, 1957], No. 22676/58. Class 74 (2). A pattern wheel for a circular machine comprises replaceable members 8 which serve as walls at the outer ends of tricks 7 containing needle selecting bits 9 which are adjustable between an inner inoperative position and an outer operative position. The members 8 are located in slots 6 in a centre-plate 4 and are secured in position by a bottom plate 2. The bits 9 are retained in either of their two positions in the tricks 7 in the top of the centreplate 4 by a top plate 10 having a projection 12 which engages in either a notch 9a or 9c. Butts 9b permit manual adjustment of the bits to advance or retract them between the members 8 after the top cover 10 has been removed.
