Abstract

855,852. Two-part couplings. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. May 14, 1959 [July 30, 1958], No. 24603/58. Class 38 (1) An electrical plug connector comprises one or more electrical contacts 4 clamped between two insulating plates 1, 2, each.contact having an outwardly extending portion to form a plug blade 4a, e.g. for insertion in a circuit panel, and a portion extending through an aperture 1a in one of the plates to form an attachment tag for a component, e.g. a transistor. As shown, the plates are secured together by rivets 3 and each contact 4 has an optional tab 4c together with a medial U- or V- shaped portion 4b projecting through .one of the plates to form a tag. Alternatively the tag may be a single arm.
