854,875. Luminescent screens. WESTING- HOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION. Aug. 12, 1959 [Aug. 27, 1958], No. 27540/59. Class 39(1). A luminescent screen is formed by placing an aqueous solution of a mixture of from 90 to 99À999% strontium acetate and from 10 to 0À001% barium acetate, a silicate solution of sodium and/or potassium silicate and a luminescent phosphor material in a settling container, e.g. a cathode ray tube, settling the phosphor and removing the excess solution. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 801,752.
