Abstract
854,389. Wallets. AMERICAN KLEER-VU PLASTICS Inc. Jan. 20, 1958, No. 1858/58. Class 18. A wallet or similar case comprises a wing assembly made up of a body member 10 to which is secured a pair of transparent support members 11 each having superposed walls 12, 13 secured together along one edge and overlapping at the opposite edge by means of a flap 14 on one wall. Each wall 12, 13 terminates in an inner flange 32 which is e.g. stuck to the body member 10; the latter has cutouts 16 terminating in inner circular portions 18, through which are passed limbs 22 (not shown) and 27 of a bracket 20 which can be attached to a backing member 30 held in pockets 31 of a wallet 29, see Fig. 5. In a modification, the bracket may comprise two separate parts ; while the body member may have cutouts of various shapes. In a further modification, the body member may be sewn on to a backing member.
