Abstract

850,644. Walls and roofs. MUSSETT, E. M., and MUSSETT, M. R. Oct. 17, 1956, No. 31670/56. Class 20(4) Cladding sheets 7, Fig. 1, are secured in spaced relation to a structure formed of interlocked sheets 1 by clips 3 one end of which engages within the interlocking formations 2 of the sheets. For a roof, Fig. 1, the sheets 7 rest on flanges 8 of spacing members 6 held in position by nuts 5 on the clips 3 but for a wall the cladding sheets 17, Fig. 2, are positively held between a spacing member 11 and an outer cap 14 secured by nuts 12, 15 on the clip 3. The sheets 17 may be secured so that the cap 14 and nut 15 are flush with the lower surface thereof. The space between the sheets 1 and cladding boards may be filled with heat and sound insulating material or left as an air space.
