Abstract
849,881. Sheep races. McINTOSH, E. J., McINTOSH, B. A., and MILLS, E. L. April 28, 1959, No. 14393/59. Class 5(1). A sheep race comprices two side screens 8 arranged along the side edges of a bottom track 34 to form an open ended runway through which sheep can walk, the bottom track being so mounted that it can be removed from the runway, a series of spray booms 21 extending along the runway and provided with nozzles 24 and a separate tank or tray 42 positioned below the runway. Liquid from the nozzles impinges on the screens and drips into the tray. Adjustable guide rails 43 are provided. Liquid is pumped from the tank to the spray booms, a filtering device being inserted in the hose inserted in the tank.
