Abstract

919,027. Animal dipping. RODGER, W. T. Sept. 16, 1960 [Sept. 18, 1959], No. 31797/59. Class 5(1). Animal-dipping apparatus comprises a tank 4 of concrete or sheet metal sunk into the ground, and a run 6 for the animals extending round the rim of the tank. A hand-rail 9 forms the inner boundary of the run 6, and an operator standing in the run pushes animals under the rail into the tank, which they leave via the exit ramp 2. Liquid is drained away from the tank via a filter head 11, through underground piping.
