849,872. Pulleys. GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE STERKRADE A.G. Jan. 22,1959 [Jan. 22, 1958], No. 2462/59. Class 80 (1). A built-up sheet metal driving pulley 1 for a multiple cable mine hoist installation has four friction-lining rings 2, one for each cable 3, arranged in pairs on either side of unlined lubricated cable-guide grooves 5 into which the adjacent cables may be slid during suspension to prevent uneven wear on the linings. Brake surfaces 4 are also provided.
