Abstract
848,255. Travelling dispensers. ADVANCE LINEN SERVICES Ltd. Nov. 7, 1958 [Jan. 15, 1958], No. 1403/58. Class 18. [Also in Group XXXII] In a towelling dispenser having a time-delay device and in which the take-up drive roll 11 mounted on pivoted arms and a descending take-up roll 15 are as described in Spcification 771,387 and in which locking means for the delivery roll 9 is as described in Specification 787,216 the time-delay device A has a non- return valve allowing air to escape from piston and cylinder members 25, 28, Fig. 3. In one form, Fig. 3, the valve comprises bores 35, 33 in the piston rod 29 and an elastic band 34. In another embodiment a hole 30, Fig. 1, in the top of the cylinder wall is covered by an elastic band 31 round the outside of the cylinder. The piston is of india-rubber or a plastic. Specification 818,938 also is referred to.
