Abstract

An animal feed composition comprises a nutritionally-balanced feed together with a small proportion, e.g. 1 to 40 grams per ton of feed, of an oleandomycin antibiotic compound which may be oleandomycin base itself, an acid addition salt, e.g. the hydrochloride, sulphate &c., or a lower polyacyl ester of oleandomycin having 2 to 4 carbon atoms in the acyl moiety.
