Abstract

An injectable solution is prepared from royal bee jelly by treating with distilled water or isotonic NaCl solution and separating the undissolved matter. The resulting clear solution may be used for injection or further treated with a water miscible organic solvent e.g. acetone or a low molecular weight alcohol, filtered and distilled in vacuo before use.
