[Also in Group XX] In a photographic camera in which a follow-up indicator 2b for the needle of a photo-electric exposure meter is connected via a cam 1 with the exposure-controlling means of the camera, the cam is shaped so that when the true measurement range of the meter is exceeded the follow-up indicator makes a sudden jump. The cam may be provided beyond the steep portions 1a, 1b which cause the indicator to jump with surfaces 1c, ld concentric with the cam pivot so that further movement of the indicator is avoided.
