Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:0839105/IV (b)/1> and their acid addition salts (wherein the broken lines denote optional bonds, R1 and R2 each represent optional alkoxy radicals or, together, an optional alkylenedioxy radical, R3 is an alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl or aralkyl radical, R4 is an ethinylene, ethenylene or ethylene group and R5 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxy or aryl radical), and the preparation thereof by reacting a compound of the general formula <FORM:0839105/IV (b)/2> with an organo-metal compound of the general formula <FORM:0839105/IV (b)/3> (wherein M is an alkali metal atom or = Mg-Halogen), and hydrolysing the addition product obtained to form the corresponding alkinyl tertiary carbinol and, if desired, converting this carbinol into an acid addition salt thereof, or catalytically hydrogenating said carbinol and, if desired, converting the hydrogenation product into an acid addition salt.
