Abstract

Fibres of cellulose triacetate, polyethylene terephthalate or polymers and copolymers of acrylonitrile are dyed with dispersed acetate dyes in the presence of an octyl phenol or an octyl cresol as a carrier. The carrier may be added to the dyebath or to a pretreatment bath.
