Abstract

833,695. Concrete mixers. PARKER Ltd., F., and PARKER, F. W. Dec. 31, 1957 [Jan. 11, 1957], No. 1143/57. Class 86 Loading gear for a concrete mixer comprises an annular channel which rotates with the mixing drum and is associated with shoots which direct the materials into the drum. The annular channel member 23 is open towards the front and has three rectangular shoots 35 which, as the member 23 rotates with the drum, scoop the materials from the bottom of channel member 23 and pass them towards the centre of the assembly where they are tipped out by radial plates 38 on to a conical member 29, coaxial with the drum, which directs the materials through the central opening of the drum.
