Abstract

A concrete mixer for mounting on a skid is described. The mixer comprises a rotatable drum and an inlet cone having a first end in fluid communication with the drum and a second end adapted to receive a loading hopper, the inlet cone having an internal surface extending from the first end to the second end. At least a portion of the internal surface defines zero taper or a taper which increases radially from the first end to the second end.
