828,574. Turbine blades. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. June 25, 1958 [June 25, 1957], No. 20056/57. Class 110 (3). [Also in Groups II and V] A turbine blade made from compacted and sintered metal powder, e.g. a nickel chrome alloy, is formed with passages 15 for the circulation of heating or cooling fluid, the passages being formed during moulding by a removable corrugated sheet. The passages may have an exit at 16 or in a modification (Fig. 1a, not shown) at the bottom of the fir tree root 14. The angles of the corrugations may be thickened as shown at 19, Fig. 5.
