Abstract

827,990. Bundling rods and tubes. WEDNESBURY TUBE CO. Ltd., and ARMISTEAD T. S. Oct. 24, 1957 [Oct. 27, 1956], No. 32842/56. Class 94(1). Rods and tubes are bundled and protected by end caps, e.g. of sheet metal, each comprising a base panel 10 of regular or irregular hexagonal form, corresponding to the cross-section of the bundle, and side panels 11 which are bent at right angles to the base panel and secured in position by adhesive tape 13 and/or wire ties engaging grooves 12 therein. Alternatively, the end caps may be moulded from plastic material and secured in position by adhesive tape or sprayed adhesive.
