Abstract

762,220. Pictures and like frames. JONES, P. April 12, 1955 [April 12, 1954], No. 10764/54. Class 11. [Also in Group XIV] A device for supporting and displaying articles such as pictures, plaques and the like comprises two lengths of closely coiled wire rods 2, each attached at each end to the article to be supported and tensioned between their ends by a member 11 formed to provide a stay. The rods 2 in plastic sheaths 3 are threaded on to screws 10 fixed to corner pieces 8 which may also receive channel members 17. The stay 11 comprises wire bent into a substantially triangular shape with arms 12, terminating in hooks 15 which engage the rods 2.
